This morning, we find ourselves grappling with the sobering news of last night’s election. The results were not what we’d hoped for.
At Queen Takes Book, we support leaders who uphold the dignity of every person and who recognize our shared humanity over divisive rhetoric and prejudice.
The path ahead feels uncertain, and we hurt for our marginalized communities—especially our trans and immigrant friends—who deserve to have their rights protected, not threatened.
As a bookstore, we are committed to diverse perspectives and open dialogue and refuse to lose sight of the ideals we believe in. We continue to combat ignorance and hate with knowledge and empathy.
We are a space where everyone is valued, where ideas are cherished, and where voices can find strength.
