About the event
Queen Takes Book is delighted to host the Wilde Readings Series this year, and we hope you can join us at our first event for the season on Tuesday, September 10 at 7pm. Featured guests are Novelist Austin S. Camacho and poet Grace Cavalieri, and the evening will also include an open mic session.
About Our Guests
Rahne Alexander
Rahne Alexander is an intermedia artist and writer from Baltimore, Maryland. She holds an MFA in Intermedia+Digital Arts from UMBC, and her visual and performance works have been exhibited across the U.S. and around the world. Her writing has appeared in BmoreArt, The Hopkins Review and the Lambda Literary Award-winning anthology Take Me There: Trans and Genderqueer Erotica. Her essay chapbook Heretic to Housewife was awarded the 2019 OutWrite nonfiction prize, and she publishes a blog called Paradise Is Not For Sale.
