About the event
Summer is a fantastic opportunity for middle grade (ages 9-13) readers to explore a variety of genres and authors, empowering them to discover new interests and expand their imaginations!
We have taken the time to curate a short list of notable recent middle grade titles. This selection includes a variety of genres and representation, ensuring that there is something appealing for every young reader's taste. After browsing the list, we invite participants to choose at least one title from our list to read over the summer, pulling them into new worlds and adventures during their break from school!
We will have an introductory meeting on June 29 to go through and talk about the titles listed. On July 20, we will be hosting a check in meeting for kids to share their progress. Then at the final meeting on August 17, we will ask the kids to share their feelings and thoughts about what…
